surviving the mountain descent
We sadly left Revelstoke behind. What a cool town.
Our descent from the mountains was slightly terrifying. Multiple 'Weather Changes Abruptly' signs were no joking matter. We quickly found ourselves in a raging snowfall in an avalanche zone. Mountain driver McFee cautiously steered us onward. We arrived at our friend Ryan's house in BC early in the night and had ourselves a good sleep. It is good to see a familiar face this far into the tour.
Tonight we play Vancouver. When I was 8, I lived in Victoria so I am wondering if I will see anything that I recognize while out here. We are cracking a bottle of champagne and lighting off fireworks on the coast of the pacific ocean.
The West has been conquered.

Awesome man, all the way to the other side. Im sure that Champagne must have tasted sweet. Congrats and keep truckin'.
I love that first picture with the train tracks and surrounded by the mountains... when you guys come back, you'll find Southwestern Ontario boring. How was the show?
The show in Vancouver was really fun.
Hey one question I forgot to ask, are you guys sampling the "native" beers in the places you visit??
yeah... there are some really good beers...i think theres a brewery called Grenville Island(?) and they have some really good brews... then theres Pilsner and Bow Valley in Alberta... somewhat comparable to bohemian and the other bottom rung beers in ontario... we actually had the opportunity to try Lucky Extra... 6% of pure diarrhea in the morning.

Excellent man, that is the first thing I would do going to new places , is actually trying the "native" brew. Lucky Extra eh?? As if the original stuff is not enough of a laxative. LOL.
Hey guys! I'm glad to see that you're doing well - looks like the tour is starting to look up! You have to start rocky - otherwise it wouldn't be a real tour!
Hope that Ry's repairs are still holding up for you!
Take care!
